
Booking is quick and straightforward. Most of our packages can be booked directly online by completing the booking form on the trip page. You’ll then be redirected to pay your deposit securely through Stripe.
Once your booking is received, you’ll get an online booking ID. Within 72 hours, we’ll send a confirmation invoice to the email address you provided.
Final balances are normally due 12 weeks before departure, unless otherwise stated on your confirmation.
Our rugby travel packages typically include:
- Return flights (where applicable)
- Airport transfers
- Hotel accommodation with breakfast
- Match tickets (optional if you already have your own)

No — we are not permitted to sell rugby tickets on their own. All tickets must be purchased as part of a travel package.
Travel insurance is not included in our packages, but we strongly recommend that all customers take out appropriate cover at the time of booking.
We can provide a quote for competitively priced insurance through one of our trusted suppliers, or you’re welcome to arrange your own policy.
Your insurance should ideally cover cancellation, medical expenses, baggage, and ticketed events for full peace of mind.
Yes — when you book with Killester Travel, your trip is fully protected. We are:

This means your money and travel arrangements are financially secure, even in the unlikely event of company insolvency.

We send travel itineraries once all details are confirmed, usually around 3 weeks before departure.
- For scheduled flights, we can often issue itineraries a little earlier.
- For charter flights, final flight slot confirmations may take longer, which can delay the process slightly.
In all cases, we aim to provide your full itinerary no later than 2 weeks before departure.
This can vary depending on the match and the host union’s ticketing system.
In the past, most tickets were physical and were either:
- Handed out at airport check-in before departure
- Delivered to your hotel reception for ground packages
- *Optionally collected from our Dublin office in the days before travel (once confirmed by our team)
However, many unions are now moving to digital ticketing. In these cases, you may need to download a ticketing app, and your tickets will be sent to you during the week leading up to the match.

For most of our chartered flights, pre-booking specific seats is not possible. We recommend arriving early at the airport, as check-in staff may be able to assist with seating requests on the day.
If you are travelling on a scheduled flight, seat pre-booking may be available for a fee. Please contact our office in advance, and we’ll advise if this option applies to your booking.
Yes — as the Official Travel Partner to Munster Rugby, we often provide special discounts for Munster Rugby Supporters Club (MRSC) members travelling to Investec Champions Cup matches.

Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds depend on how far in advance you cancel and what type of package you booked.

Your remaining balance must be paid in full at least 8 weeks before departure, unless a different date is specified on your confirmation invoice.
